2017 Lincoln Continental - Pricing & Features
The New 2017 Lincoln Continental is powered by a 400-horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine that powers the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. All four wheels can be driven through the system optional all-wheel-drive torque vector corresponding to the rear wheels depending on the speed, road conditions and cornering. There will also be a naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V-6, most likely as a base engine, as well as the turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6. Both engines will be paired with a six-speed automatic as well, with front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.
Three driving modes built in: Normal, Comfort, & Sport, each of which alter the setting of both the steering and suspension to provide more trips compliance (A.U) or feel of the tight (E.S). Optional adaptive steering improve the crispness of the on-road car's response & reaction to driver input.
Many active-safety systems are available, including adaptive cruise control is in operation to a full stop in heavy traffic, and resume once the speed of traffic in front has cleared. A picture surround-vision camera employs a 360 degree stitching together views from a camera mounted in the grille, decklid and 180 degrees side mirrors, creating an image in the center touchscreen display that takes the stress out of parallel parking. There is also a Pre-Collision Assist with pedestrian detection, which automatically brakes to a full stop in order to avoid or minimize impacts.
Options include a sound system Revel who worked together with the acoustics of the cabin, turning it into a private amphitheater with three different listening modes - Stereo, Audience and On Stage. Three Lincoln Black Label theme designers can also be specified: Chalet, Thoroughbred & Rhapsody Continental-exclusive.
New 2017 Lincoln Continental Price
2017 Lincoln Continental will arrive in dealerships in the fall of 2016. Prices and trim levels will be announced closer to the data on sales, but according to executive Lincoln, US prices will start at under $ 50,000 - or about $ 10,000 more than the MKS replaces. All Continentals sold in (U.S.A) which will be assembled in Flat Rock.
